Nearly 20 people, including several new members, were present on Sunday to enjoy Carolyn Martin’s inspirational poetry session . Much poetry was written by all. Much inspiration was shared. Around 12 of us braved the unexpected storm to hear a fantastic talk from Matt Haynes about books, writing, and especially narration. As we arrived, the sun came out, and we welcomed several new members who’d found us via Meetup. Someone suggested that maybe more time will be spent on indoor pursuits like writing as the weather turns cooler.
